I have organised cleaners for my holidaying clients, so letting them in this morning to work their magic wand. How lovely to come back from your hols and your house has had a spring clean?

Suitcase-check, passports-check

Ok so the thing about booking a last minute holiday in January is that it’s not so easy to get his and her shorts, flip flops and bikinis! I have a couple that are members going to Barbados tomorrow and need all the holiday bits and pieces like sun cream, some summer clothes, toiletries and the usual first aid kit!! There are very few shops that have summer clothes but I soon find some clothes that are actually fashionable! Sorted.

Tuesday 22nd January

Something Different for the Weekend

A member has asked us to come up with something different for her and her friends to do on the day of her birthday. It has to be in Glasgow and not take up the whole day as they are having a late lunch and cocktails. We came up with a few suggestions from a visit to the spa, pole dance lessons (they didn’t fancy the baring their legs bit) the climbing wall, salsa and hip hop lessons to snowboarding lessons. They went for the salsa and hip hop lessons and had a fab time, couldn’t walk for a week, but had such a laugh!

Wednesday 9th January

A few errands to be running for our members:
Buy GHD straighteners, Order flowers for delivery, pick up food and drink for a dinner party, Organise a Spa weekend, Pick up paintings from framers, Source a Nintendo DS (this is almost impossible unless it is pink!!), Buy new Ralph Lauren Polo shirt for a birthday gift, Organise window cleaners, Book restaurant for weekend... DONE!!

Monday 7th January

Looking for a car rally around Europe for a member, Cannonball to expensive so looking for a smaller set up… there are loads, Scumball Rally, Street Safari and many, many more not to his taste. Found a great one with FB5K. They have tours all over, Highland Mini Tour, Arctic Tour, Alpine Tour to name but a few for motoring enthusiasts!!

Sourced ‘Spice Girls’ tickets for 3rd of January at the O2 Arena. Great price and seats with access to VIP bar.

Saturday 8th December

Santa's Little Helper!

One of our member’s asked if her 8ft artificial Christmas tree could be put up this day as her kids were away, meaning she could go out and do a little last minute shopping, she also managed to have a quiet lunch and a warm cup of coffee!! I started the 8ft, 12 layer Christmas tree at 10:30am and was finished by 2pm (usually takes over 4hrs). Our member let me know that her kids came back and thought the fairies had been in and decorated the tree….well almost!!

Thursday 6th December

Been asked to find wedding invitations that a member liked at last years Scottish Wedding Show, Did not manage to find the exact ones as styles had changed from the previous year but found a Stationer that will make them exactly how she wants, perfect.

Another member’s cleaner cancelled last minute, 8pm Thurs night, was meant to be cleaning Fri morning. My Home are going in at 9am to save the day.

Wednesday 5th December

Been asked to source a Christian Dior Light Jewelled Lip Balm for a member (Christmas present). So phone Harvey Nichols, John Lewis, Frasers, Jenners, Boots, Debenhams, Glasgow and Edinburgh……… ALL SOLD OUT! And that includes the rest of Scotland, Manchester and Birmingham! But a little shop called ‘Fenwick’ on Bond Street, London has 2 in stock and there is 20% discount today, promptly paid for and will be delivered to member in a couple of days…….Thank you!
