It started with a quick conversation and ended in an amazing book launch party! I knew I wanted to have a celebration of writing my book and also knew that I had absolutely no time on this earth to organise it! My PA and I were busy organising and training another event and so were resigned to the fact that it wouldn’t be happening.
3 weeks later I am standing in front of a crowd of people (from my database!) in an absolutely stunning venue with a new outfit (yes Zuzu organised that too!) and raising £2500 for Breast Cancer (81 raffle prizes, a star prize worth £650 and an auction of 4 amazing prizes were organised)!
Essentially all I had to do was turn up! My outfit was bought for me, a hairdresser was organised at the venue I was training at, my PA had a new outfit too and the night was a roaring success! Oh and I forgot the double page spread in the daily record to advertise the book and book signings!
I am in the middle of writing my next book (the only thing Zuzu can’t do for me!) and they will definitely be organising that party! It shocks me to think that there was a time when I wasn’t a member of Zuzu!”
